By entering into the Crawley Open the person who manages the entry for a Club agrees to send payment through after their entry has been confirmed, and no later than the date of entry closing.
Payment must be made in full for all Teams, Individual entries, and SERC entries.
Payment must be made by Bank Transfer, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Each Squad (up to four per Club) must arrange for a volunteer to be available throughout the competition to enable the smooth running of the competition.
Each Squad is expected to volunteer remaining competitors from Squads who are entering the SERC event, to act as casualties and help with the smooth running of the SERC event.
Each Club Manager is responsible for notifying the staff of K2 (the leisure centre) of any relevant medical conditions and/or medical information prior to the start of the competition.
In order for our competition to run smoothly, we require a lot of help! We are extremely grateful of any time that you can give us as either an official, judge, timekeeper, casualty, runner, whatever! Please fill in the form below to help give us an idea of who is able to help out on the day.

Crawley Town Life Saving Club are honoured to once again host Surf Life Saving GB's Simulated Emergency Response Competition.
All details below are to be confirmed.
The SLSGB National SERC will be identically scored to the Crawley Open SERC, but a subset of the teams where all competitors are members of SLSGB, will be taken out and ranked separately.
In order to be entered into the SLSGB SERC; all members of the SERC team must be known to the Crawley Open Organiser, a week prior to the start of the competition, and all member of the SERC team must be in membership with SLSGB.
SLSGB are providing a one-off day-membership at a cost of £5.00 per person, this must be paid to SLSGB directly and the Crawley Organisers will take no steps to chase membership. SERC teams that fail to be in membership prior to the start of the competition will have any award revoked.

Overall Club SERC Champions
A Club consists of either one (1) Open Team, or one (1) Youth Team, or one (1) Open Team and one (1) Youth Team.
You may register multiple Club entries, where the Club name has suffixes A, B, C, etc.
E.g. Crawley Town A, Crawley Town B, etc.
A Team is an entry by a Club in an age category, that consists of either one (1) Male Squad, or one (1) Female Squad, or one (1) Male Squad and one (1) Female Squad.
A Squad is part of a Team, that consists of a maximum of six (6) competitors.
Squad Size and Gender
A Squad is made up of no more than six members, classed as Male or Female.
Females may compete in a Male Squad, but Males may not compete in a Female Squad.
Each competitor may only compete for one Squad.
Age categories follow the ILS rules, with the exception that there is no restriction on minimum age. Open: No minimum or maximum age. Youth: Competitor's age is under nineteen (19) on 31st December of the competition year.
All members of a Team must be eligable to compete in the same age category.
Heats and Seeding of Competitors
Points will be allocated based on times from heats, there will be no finals (i.e. Time-Finals).
Although competitors may swim in a mixed heat of entry categories, the results will reflect their Squad entry.
Squad competitors will have a Club name with suffix A, B or C.
Individual competitors will have a Club name without any suffix.
The real-time race results will show event rankings that include combined Squad/Individuals and these will be split in the (backend) competition scoring system.
Individuals are classified into Open categories only.
The draw order for the SERC will be randomly generated and announced prior to isolation closing.
Youth Squads will be moved to the start of the draw order.
Competitors not competing in the SERC are expected to be available as casualties for the whole SERC event.
Pool Lifesaver Relay
The Pool Lifesaver Relay Male/Female legs will be drawn once entries have closed, and before the date of the competition.
Once entries have closed, the nominated competitors for the Pool Lifesaver Relay (or any other event) are not allowed to be modified, without prior written permission of the Competition Organiser, or the Head Referree on the day.
Male and Female competitors must be taken from the same Team (Age Category)
Please note that any Female competitor that is entered as a Male competitor (i.e. is acting as a Male swimmer for the duration of the competition in a Male Squad) is not eligible to 'swap' Gender for the Pool Lifesaver Relay.
For example, if a Club enters a single Male Squad (in one Team) consisting of four men and two woman, all six competitors are classed as Male and an entry into the Mixed Pool Lifesaver Relay will not count towards the Club's score.

Youth SERC Champions
The Squad (four people) who wins the SERC event, from all Youth Squads (Male and Female).
Open SERC Champions
The Squad (four people) who wins the SERC event, from all Open Squads (Male and Female).
Youth Speeds Champions
The Youth Team (combined Male Squad and Female Squad) with the most points from only the Speed events.
Open Speeds Champions
The Open Team (combined Male Squad and Female Squad) with the most points from only the Speed events.
Youth Team Champions
The Team with the most points - calculated by combining Youth Male Squad and Youth Female Squad across Speeds and the best Youth SERC Squad (Male or Female).
Open Team Champions
The Team with the most points - calculated by combining Open Male Squad and Open Female Squad across Speeds and the best Open SERC Squad (Male or Female).
Overall Club Champions
The Club with the most points - calculated by combining Open and Youth Teams (i.e. all Speed Teams and the best Open and Youth SERC Team).
